Davide Ferrari, per dieci anni Sindaco di un ridente paese Piemontese, sempre su Facebook, dal primo giorno di mandato, per creare un rapporto “speciale” con i propri Cittadini di cui ha raccolto migliaia di messaggi, segnalazioni, richieste le più strampalate e sgrammaticate Galliate, potrebbe essere ovunque in Italia: stessi problemi, stessi Cittadini, stessi messaggi: come in un Truman Show che si ripete uguale in tutta la penisola.

IL LIBRO
Una decina di capitoli che descrivono le vita quotidiana di un Sindaco Italiano alle prese con i suoi “leoni da tastiera”: si parla dei rifiuti, dei vigili che non ci sono mai (o ci sono troppo), di lavori pubblici e di manutenzioni, passando per le cacche dei cani, le campane rumorose, l’erba che cresce, le feste di piazza e le immancabili elezioni comunali... Tutti quadri quotidiani dei quali cerco di offrire da un lato la prospettiva, con tagli divulgativo, di un amministratore pubblico, dall’altro la visione dei cittadini più “agguerriti” con la tastiera. Ne emerge un forte contrasto tra la realtà e come i Cittadini spesso la vedono, ma anche una gran voglia di comunicare con il Comune e con il suo Sindaco al quale ogni cittadino si sente autorizzato a chiedere qualunque cosa: che scuola consigliare alla figlia, a che ora sono le messe oppure, appunto, se domani pioverà. Una voglia di comunicare che accorcia le distanze tra il cittadino e la pubblica amministrazione aumentando la fiducia nella stessa.
